I always thought that chamber music was typical of the Baroque. Until I realized it was music for a small number of instruments, as opposed to works for orchestra, and therefore also in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries many authors had composed chamber music. And one day I heard the Schubert string quartets, and I discovered the number 14, and I realized that, as in the rock, you do not need many instruments to make hard-hitting music. And to prove it, look at this video (the rush of the Alban Berg Quartet from minute 3:20 is heavy metal).
