Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird

"Lynyrd Skynyrd" es uno de los grupos imprescindibles del rock sureño (del sur de EEUU) de los 70. Su canción más conocida es "Sweet Home Alabama", pero yo os traigo mi favorita: "Free Bird". Una megacanción que empieza delicadamente, hablando sobre una despedida, con un espectacular slide en la guitarra y un tierno solo de piano. Pero a partir del minuto 6:50 el tema se embrutece con uno de los duetos de guitarras eléctricas más trepidantes de la historia del rock. Bestial. Os recomiendo encarecidamente que disfrutéis toda la canción de principio a fin.

"Lynyrd Skynyrd" is one of the must-hear bands of the 70's Southern Rock (from the south of the US). Their best known song is "Sweet Home Alabama" but I want to talk about my favorite one: "Free Bird". A super-song that begins softly, talking about a farewell, with a spectacular slide guitar and a tender solo piano. But from the 6:50 minute the song becomes wild, giving us one of the most thrilling electric guitar duets in rock history. Smashing! I highly suggest you to savour the whole song from start to end.
