George Frideric Handel died on April 14. As a tribute, I bring a little of his music. The famous piece "Sarabande" is a part of a suite for harpsichord. Based on this music, Leonard Rosenman composed an orchestral arrangement for one of the most wonderful soundtracks in film history. En esta película aparece una de las secuencias de persecución de coches más famosas del cine. El que conduce el Mustang es McQueen. Nada de especialistas. La música crea un ambiente espectacular.

Blade Runner se ha convertido en un mito. Una película del género aquel que llamaron "ciencia-ficción" que, a diferencia de otras del mismo género, ha soportado muy bien el paso del tiempo. Creo que la clave de su vigencia está en que en la ambientación no plantearon un mundo futuro demasiado fantasioso, sino bastante parecido al actual. La banda sonora, a cargo de Vangelis, es una de las responsables del éxito de este film.
Blade Runner has become a myth. A film of the genre that they called "science fiction" that, unlike others of the same genre, has withstood well the test of time. I think the key to its survival is in the atmosphere, which does not show a future world too fantastic, but much like the current one. The soundtrack, by Vangelis, is partly responsible for the success of this movie.
