It's very difficult to talk about Jeff Beck without any debate about the three great guitarists who were born from the Yardbirds in the mid-60s. All three have become guitar legends. Jimmy Page founded one of the greatest hard rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. Eric Clapton, meanwhile, also has a successful career moving between blues, rock and pop. And finally, Jeff Beck, perhaps the least successful from a commercial point of view, but, for my liking, the most experimental and virtuous of the three of them.
¡Rock duro!
The same song in two versions. Superstition is a very special song because, while the lyrics speak very seriously about how bad it is to be superstitious, its music has a rhythm that you feel like dancing for joy. The first is the original version of Stevie Wonder, performed on Sesame Street.
The second version comes from a powerful supertrio formed by Jeff Beck, Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice, nothing more and nothing less. I will harm you in the future bringing music of these three guys in the different historical groups in which they have participated throughout their careers. Hard rock!
