David Bowie - Sweet Thing + My Death

David Bowie, also known as The Chameleon.  This nickname was due to his ability to change his appearance and explore different musical genres. But, in my opinion, his greatest chameleon skills is related to his voice. He is probably the rock singer with more registers and ranges of voice I've ever heard. Sometimes you can even see this variety within a song. In a dramatic way, to play different characters or emotions. For example, listen to this "Sweet Thing". Do not miss the evolution of the voice since the entry in the second 37.

A second song as a tip. A thrilling live cover of Jacque's Brel's "My Death". Farewell, Mr. Bowie.

David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust + Moonage Daydream

David Bowie is a complete artist: musician, composer, actor, etc. The way he sings has been imitated by many people. His androgynous-glam aesthetics shocked at first and after was also copied. But, without a doubt, I like the best his talent for composing. When I listened to Bowie for the first time, the originality of the first song on the album surprised me, then it did the second one, then the third song and so on until the end of the album. I heard the next album and I was amazed again. All songs were original, different and high quality. I bring a song from his period as Ziggy: a peculiar character from space that starred album and tours with a flashy and theatrical staging. Certainly, Bowie is a cultural icon of the twentieth century.

What a great show! The whole band is in a state of grace. The end is tremendous, punk and very very rock. How I like a riot on stage!
